Patriot Games

It's the Fourth! And we all know what that means! Only eleven days until my birthday!!!

What do I want for my birthday, you ask? Perhaps a pair of smart pumps?


Or a ride in a kayak?


Or maybe just a nice nap between the biped's knees?


Having the daylilies bloom would be a nice present. Here are the first two that just opened up yesterday.



The biped has been busy....playing dress-up! His friend John had a big party (and the biped didn't bring me!)-the theme was France. This is the biped as Liberty Leading the People. How does he compare?

The biped also bought himself what is referred to as a "weed-whacker". He used it to mow the lawn. Look at it! Talk about a bad haircut! He butchered the grass! But at least it's shorter now. I was getting afraid to walk through it, the grass was so tall!
