Aside from the warmth and the palm trees, the first thing you discover about Palm Springs is its obession with celebrity. The whole town is a giant star walk of fame featuring well-known to unheard of people. Marilyn and Keely are two of my favorites.



There are statues of the Hollywood types who flock to this desert paradise. Like Sonny and Lucy.



And many celebrities had and have homes here--from Brangelina to Cary Grant to Marjorie Main.



So I keep my eyes peeled for stars.


And I have to say, the chilly desert nights have inspired me to increase my bling factor. Here's my new chinchilla peacoat.
