One Chihuahua, One Cup

We are all settled into our new desert home and I am loving it. The hot water went kaput a few days ago, so the biped isn't so thrilled about that (other than the deep discount he got on the rent), but I don't care. I don't take showers.

I do like to hang out in the pool.

And find sunny places to sleep.

Or warm places.

Or hang out with the biped's giant friend.

The biped's friend Jon was here visiting and so they got rowdy all week. We went out to the Joshua Tree National Park. It's an amazingly beautiful place. Here's a photo-essay.

The biped has been leaving me at home most nights, though. He goes out to bars with table-swings...

...to street fairs...

...and to fancy restaurants.

And I have to stay at home and stare at this crazy painting.

I am a California native transplanted to the East Coast and have grown to accept both the snowy weather of winter and the hard-bitten attitudes of New Englanders. Since I moved here in October of 2006, I think I've become something of a native, although the locals will always call me a "bark-ashore". If you have any questions, just ask!
