The Bullcrap Moose Party

I've only been alive for two years or so, but I've still had enough moral outrage to last me a lifetime (which in the best scenario could be about 20 years or so.....you hear that, biped??? GET USED TO ME!!!). Watching the political process you American-Humans engage in defies even the credulity of a three pound dog. Is this what is called a democracy? Or a democrazy?

To add another few gallons of gasoline to the fire, the McCain campaign seems to think they don't need to be accountable to anyone. Is this a page from a book that's been overused already during the Bush years? Listen to the video below, if you have the stomach for it. The arrogance and dismissiveness of this McCain campaign staffer, Nicolle Wallace, is unheard of. I can run off at the mouth sometimes, barking at people walking by or dogs that are fifteen to sixteen times my size, but somebody needs to put a real muzzle on this one. Who does she think she is? It's the second video.

And to get back to some reality, rather than the McCain campaign-designed talking points that have flooded the press lately about having respect for Sarah Palin's privacy, this editorial from the Washington Post answers the real questions about fairness, the media and the Republican position on a right to privacy.

And if you haven't watched the Jon Stewart video highlighting the hypocrisy of the Republican punditry, you need to. It should be easy to find.

I'm not going to do all the work for you!

I am a California native transplanted to the East Coast and have grown to accept both the snowy weather of winter and the hard-bitten attitudes of New Englanders. Since I moved here in October of 2006, I think I've become something of a native, although the locals will always call me a "bark-ashore". If you have any questions, just ask!
