Snow Falling on Chihuahuas

The biped hasn't had internet for two days and both of us have been bouncing off the walls! I've got a bunch of pictures that I've been wanting to post. I'll start with a recap of our recent turbulent weather to go along with our turbulent political and economic times.

It was a one-two punch of a storm, first a good 10 inches on Friday evening, then Sunday another round of snow.

Outside our door...

The oldest house in Provincetown in the snow...

The biped and I drove to Boston on Sunday to see the Gold Dust Orphans' All About Christmas Eve (which was hilarious, but more on that later). The roads were a mess with heavy, wet snow coming down. Here's a bunch of Ptown pictures from Saturday. It was a real winter wonderland.

And as if by saying it, the words became reality: I mentioned dog booties on Friday and on Sunday morning I was presented with a gift from Stella, Tom and Scott's chocolate lab. Stella is a little nuts, but very sweet. So she gives me these neon yellow booties.

Here's a video clip of me in them. The biped and his friend Jon are complete sickos. They're the ones screaming in the background. Needless to say, the boots are going to take some getting used to.

I am a California native transplanted to the East Coast and have grown to accept both the snowy weather of winter and the hard-bitten attitudes of New Englanders. Since I moved here in October of 2006, I think I've become something of a native, although the locals will always call me a "bark-ashore". If you have any questions, just ask!
